Do I need to understand everything or behave the right way to follow Jesus? What if I told you the answer was no? In Matthew 9 Jesus asked Matthew to follow Him. He didn’t ask him to repent of his sins. He didn’t even ask him to believe in him. He simply invited him to follow. And then to show Matthew that he was serious, Jesus went to his house and partied with all of his sinner friends.
