Gen 1:28 “Be fruitful and multiply and have dominion”
This is enlarged upon in Gen 22:17-18, “In blessing, I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.” Gal 3:29 reminds us that, “If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.”
When it comes to building God’s kingdom, there is a great partnership between human efforts at multiplication and God’s divine impartations. God can only bless the work as we put our hand to it. Here is a recap of the seven area’s God has promised to multiply if the church and individual Christians will do their part:
1. Multiplication of the Word “I planted, Apollo’s watered, but God gave the increase.” (1Cor 3:6) God’s multiplication is only in response to man planting and watering.
2. Multiplication of Souls won and Disciples made (Math 28:18-20) “The number of
disciples multiplied greatly” (Acts 6:7)
3. Multiplication of Leaders-Leadership comes out of Discipleship. (Acts 6:3-6)
4. Multiplication of the Anointing and Miracles. (Acts 6:7-8)
5. Multiplication of Churches. (Act 9:31) This is the natural result of preaching with
signs & wonders following.
6. Multiplication of Finances and Resources. (2Cor 9:6-11) God will multiply finances
and resources if believers sow them into the harvest.
7. Multiplication of Effort through Agreement. (Math 18:19-20)
These seven areas were covered in the previous e Newsletters, now I want to add an eighth area.
8. Multiplication of Media
This is not specifically mentioned in the Word; but I do believe that if Christians will use all available technology to advance the kingdom of God, God will multiply it. I’m convinced that the hi-tech tools of our day have been given to the world primarily to help fulfill the Great Commission. We must use technology to prepare laborers to take the message of Christ’s love into the dark regions of the earth. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”(Habakkuk 2:14)
The #1 Victory purpose statement is: “To reach every available person at every time by every available means with the gospel of Jesus Christ.” Every passion we have must be subject to Christ’s number one passion, the passion for souls. (Luke 19:10)
When I was in my first pastorate in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said, “To Transform A Nation you must gain influence, authority and favor in three main areas: Media, Politics and Education. This is the order of influence not the order of priority.
That means we must gain influence in the media before we can significantly affect politics and education. There is an ongoing battle for knowledge-The devils success is dependent upon our ignorance. 1 John 3:8; Hosea 4:6; Math 22:29
This is why we as a movement fought so hard, for so long, to get 24 hour Christian TV, a behind the scenes political movement and Christian Schools and Colleges across Canada.
The scriptures reveal how powerful an influence, communication technology will play in the end times.
Rev. 11:8-12 “And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies’ three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Dan 12:4 “Shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase”
I believe it is in the heart of God to use technology to equip an end-time spiritual army. We must exert every effort to gain dominion through:
- Websites that are creative and informative
- You Tube sites
- Streaming video
- Video leadership training resources
- Facebook and other social media sites
- Webcast broadcast programs and stations. www.tv.victoryint.org
- Web servers, Webinars and Skype conferences
- Online Bible Colleges http://my.vbci.org
- Multimedia for multiple church plants
- TV and radio outreaches
The Church is the Vehicle God Will Use.
There can be no army without recruitment and without training. The church is the only vehicle that can equip leaders and workers for ministry in every segment of society. Ephesians 4:11-16 states the fivefold ministry is “for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” When we release the whole fivefold ministry, we release the whole church, into the whole world.
